Drums Performance Lab

This course will provide the basics of drumming such as techniques, posture, stick control, footwork as well as reading drum scores. Besides learning basic drum beats, students will be exposed to various rhythmic styles and ideas for drum fill-ins.

They will also be taught the standard rudiments which are basic patterns used in rudimental drumming. These patterns form the building blocks or "vocabulary" of drumming, and can be combined in an infinite variety of ways to create grooves.

Duration:

Lessons are conducted once a week for an hour per session.
